OPTIMIZATION

1. PDF Optimization

Please make sure that the file size is less that 5 MB, or the system will not accept it.

1. Save the file as a PDF document, and allow for file compression when saving in this format.

2. Open your PDF from Acrobat.

3. File< Reduce tile size< Save. You might stop here if you achieve the proper optimization by now. If not, go to next step.

4. Advance<PDF Optimize< then control the bar either high optimization or high quality. Then Save

2. HOW TO CREATE A PROPER PDF FOR WEB

From Illustrator:

1. Save an illustrator file as EPS.

2. Drop EPS files to Acrobat Distiller, which will compress the files.

3. Create a multiple PDF file in Acrobat.

4. Submit a final PDF with multiple PDFs inside.

From Word:

1. Print as a PDF.

2. Open from Acrobat.

3. File > Reduce the file size
